Although some of our work is highly sensitive and cannot be summarised with a case study, some of our clients have consented to a summary. These pdf's are available for download from our document section and show the wide remit of our work - simply register online and proceed to documents.
We recently collaborated with BT on a project that was funded by the Northumberland Strategic Partnership (see www.nsp.org.uk) and One NorthEast (see www.onenortheast.co.uk) to help drive e-business tools into small businesses. Further information can be found in a press release of the project, publicised by the NSP. The final report is available from the documents section, as are several podcasts showing how business can get the best from on-line tools.
In mid-2008, we supported Middlesbrough Football in the Community (MFC) with bid mentoring and coaching support. MFC receive no support from the club and are a registered charity. Bidding into the Learning and Skills Council, they won a £350,000 contract that secured 9 jobs and allowed them to continue their superb work on behalf of disadvantaged young people on Teesside. Well done to George Cooke and his team!
A more recent assignment involved bid mentoring and Red Team Review of a bid for the Teesside and County Durham Probation Areas. They were required to submit a bid to the UK's Justice Department to allow them to merge and become a Probation Trust. With Aligned Solution's support, the excellent senior management teams of both Areas succeeded in their task, becoming the UK's first merged Probation Trust and protecting many hundreds of jobs.
